He was very shocked when he recieved this autograph. On the mark at the stamp was written: Chicago,IL 29/2/1999

Longest wait I had was 1 year and 11 months for carry On star Fenella Fielding. What made it worse was that I'd written to her once before, and she replied in two weeks!!

the second time I just presumed she'd lost or kept my postcard I'd sent to get signed, and was very surprised when I finally got the response!

Wow. I think your friend wins! I've heard of things getting lost in the mail, but for it to be found again years later is pretty cool.

My longest wait so far would probably be nine months. But I saw that Kathryn Morris takes over a year to respond so I'm hoping I'll get mine back eventually (it's been about 14 months so far.)

My longest wait so far had to have been from July 2005-March 2007.

Once it hits the 1 year mark, I lose pretty much any hope of getting my things back, but you'd be surprised as to how much actually gets sent back after very long periods of time! :P
