Where can I get non copyrighted downloadable photos ?

Sorry if this is a bit confusing, I was just wondering if there is anywhere, that I can get downloadable, photos, that I can send to celebs, that are non copyrighted.

If you search on http://www.google.com/images enter your search word(s) and select large or extra-large images in the scroll down box you should find what you want.

Strictly speaking, if you print them from the internet yourself and send them out then you should be OK. The only problem you will encounter is if you try to get them printed at a proper photo lab.

Many will not print them, as they will assume they are copyright protected (which they probably are). If you print them yourself however on an inkjet / laser printer you are merely using photos available in the "public domain".

BTW I also use http://www.altavista.com/images as well, as they often throw up different photos to google.

Hi,
According to the laws, any photos from google, yahoo... unless stated is copyrighted, and unless you recived confirmation from the copyright owner saying its ok to use it, it is strightly speaking illegal. If you would like to get uncopyrighted images, u can get them on wikipedia or u would have to purchase them.
