Re: Rarest Autographs
My rarest would probably be either my authentic Bob Barker that I got via email, or John "Records" Landecker (from WLS Radio, The Rock of Chicago, reaching I think it was 48 states, way back when FM was playing the bad music and AM was cool)
Anyone remember John?

who signed my copy of Slaughterhouse-Five about 8 years ago.

Re: Rarest Autographs
I have some VERY rare autographs. I'm a big fan of "older" stars.
1. James Dean
2. Marlon Brando
3. Johnny Cash
4. Dean Martin
5. Joey Bishop
They are all IP not TTM. All are 100% authentic.
Why are they rare? Because they have all passed on now so they can't sign genuine autographs anymore.

I'm not sure just how rare some of those are. Just because they're deceased doesn't mean their autographs rare. What makes it rare is how many are left in existence. Some of those people's autograph isn't very rare, I've seen them in a few stores.
Rarity and value are completely different things, although related. Just because you can't get them for under so much doesn't mean they're rare. It's like Elvis. He signed plenty of autographs. They aren't rare, just expensive because he's deceased. Just like a few of the names on that list.

Mine are:
Patrick stewart, Mickey Rooney, Dennis Weaver, Peter Gabreil (From Genesis) Diana Rigg (via venue) Steve Hackett, Patrick Moore (from home address)
I know, that these are not the worlds rarest, but not everyone has them.

Ok maybe your right. Just because they are dead does not mean that they are "VERY rare." James Dean died at 24 in 1955 over 50 years ago. I'm sure he did not sign that many autographs. His might have been destroyed or ruined over the years.
Marlon Brando is a hard one to get cause he did not want to sign autographs almost at the end of his life. And just look at the work he has done. He is one of the greatest actors of all time.
Johnny Cash only really signed at his concerts.
Joey Bishop is not all that rare but some one put his name as a rare autograph so I thought I would do the same. They are not "VERY rare" but not everyone has them.
