I wrote to the last Pope years ago and they sent me a very nice PP with a letter on vatican paper saying he gets to many requests to reply personally etc etc a bit like the ones you get from Presidents and Prime Ministers although I have got a real Magaret Thatcher

I sent an email on 12/06/05 and as yet i've had nothing..............

I got a letter saying the pope doesnt sign real autographs because the vatican doesnt think it is important for a pope to do. I guess I could understand that. But there is a address in D.C. where they have photos of him for a preprint. if you want it I could give it to you.
