laminating autographs - good idea or not

If you're pictures are printed on ordinary paper or if they are from a newspaper or magazine, you won't damage them by laminating them, however, as others have pointed out, you will put limitations on how other collectors can display them and compromise an authenticity test. These factors will of course diminish their value.

If your pictures are genuine photos ie printed on photographic paper, then laminating them will cause the upper surface of the paper to bubble and melt because of the heat process - don't do it!!!
