I'm glad to help :D

Senators are a great way to get autographs. Though it is very hard to get authentics when you are out of their state. Such senators as Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards have practically stoped signing authentically since their bid for the White House. If you call John McCain's office, in 6-8 months you may great a success. The number is at his senate website, at his Washington DC office.

Presidents are hard to get as well. President Jimmy Carter is the only president who most of the time signs authentically TTM. You must send him a picture though or he will send a preprint. President Bill Clinton refuses to sign, unless you send him his autobiography. That can take up to 8 to 9 months to get back though. President George H. W. Bush rarely signs authentically TTM. You may get lucky and get a signed photo if you ask for an authentic one. Usually, he sends PP or autopen. President George W. Bush cannot sign as he is in office, neither can Vice President Dick Cheney. Though if you catch him in person, he will sign. People think he will be a good TTM signer once he leaves office.

Prime Minister Tony Blair is leaving office in June, and rarely signs. I have seen an authentic success from him but I wouldn't get upset if you got the usual preprint. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher will sign TTM, but you must send her a photo. You can send the Prime Minister from Canada an email and he will send a signed photo. An easy way to get a world leader.

Hope this helps!

For UK Royalty, as far as I know, only Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, sends TTM, although whether it is a PP I do not know.

In the past I have sent a request to the Queen, but received a letter of rejection.

Best wishes

Stuart

My first letter that i sent our, to Queen Elisabth, was a turn down, but i did receive a letter from her lady-in-waiting....the letter came on oficial Buckingham palace starionary and the envelope had the royl crest on the back of it and the queens stamp on the front...even thoug the queen didn't sign it, its pretty cool
