No surprise William Shatner is on the worst signers list; surprised someone is worse than him .
Steve Carell is a good TTM signer, I would have imagined he was good IP too .

Yeah, this list is a bit weird... Thought this would make an interesting topic. When I first saw it, I was like "What??". I've never really mind this annual list much anyways, I mean, Will Ferrell is the guy who sent almond nuts as a present to a member here - how can he be a bad signer? Same for Tom Hanks - he has always been known as one of the better signers! :neutral: I do agree with Mark Wahlberg though - he really got a nice attitude, signs a lot more in person and TTM. {thumb2}

And yes, suddenly Depp is gone - he's been on the best signer list for years now!

So, with whom do you agree on this list and who would be on your list as best and worst signers?

Yeah, I agree with that. In my book, it will probably always be that Johnny Depp is the best and William Shatner is the worst. I really don't see where John C. Reilly gets off as the worst. Have I been missing something?

I agree with the 10 best signers. Johnny Depp might not be on there because he hasn't been out much this year? If you look at his IMDB, there aren't any movies for 2008. Sweeney Todd was his last movie released.

The 10 worst signers are right on, except for maybe Tom Hanks and Steve Carell. They used to be good signers. Will Ferrell is still a bad signer, and regularly will be rude to people asking for his autograph. I've heard stories of him flat out laughing in their faces or completely ignoring his fans. Too bad, he's such a brilliant comedian.

The all-time worst signer is not even on the list..... David Crosby. He will not only refuse, he'll accuse you of selling the signature on Ebay. Stealing money from him as he puts it. I've been there when he's yelled and cursed at people in the middle of the street.

My last encounter with him is when he appeared on a Philly radio station. There were only two of us waiting. He refused us and told his "people" to call security even though we were in a public building.

i helped compile the list (and should have a credit for doing so),johnny is off the list for a few reasons.

he's not been out too much this year, he doesn't have many movies coming out or came out in 2008.

he's got new bodyguards who don't let him sign, or stop him from signing outright. when he was in phoenix for the cardinals/ dolphins game, they only let him sign one time...other than that, the bodyguards manhandle you or just don't let him even be approachable anymore. and with that $400,000,000 million disney contract, they have a need to protect their property.

tom hanks is HORRIBLE about signing and hates the mere fact that people expect him to sign...he even says it in the simpson's movie during the credits," i'm tom hanks. if you see me out in public, leave me be!" i think that says it all..
steve carell is horrible too. he's not signed at his premieres since "anchorman" and he complains when people ask him.
david crosby isn't on the list because it's the magazine's intention to put together a worst and best music signers list later in the year, much like the sports signer's list a few years ago.

This list is dead on and I applaud the people who put it together..The worst signer list is very accurate..I've been getting IP autographs for about a year now and John C. Reilly is the worst he is number one on my list..I've also had encounters with Will Ferrell William Shatner and Steve Carrell, they NEVER signed for me. The only person I am not sure about with on the list is Adam Sandler, I've heard he has gotten better. Brooke Shields is also usually a horror..she recently started signing because her show is about to get cancelled.

I compiled a list of the best and worst signers I've come across..my best is completely different from the original list but thats only because I've only met Mark Wahlberg.
