Re: letters to celebrities
That's what I'm trying to figure out! I'm new too. If I actually have a chance to write to a celebrity... I want to make it meaningful. I'm sure most people open their letter by flattering the celebrity. "I just wanted to say you're amazing, etc" so instead, write something that they don't hear all the time. If you want them to sign anything or whatever, save that for the end. That's my advice. Good luck!

Re: letters to celebrities
Heres a tiny template about what i write:
Dear -----,
My name is -------- and i am ----- years old. I am writing to say -------(what you like about them, what you think of them, what you like about the character they play, what they do well)
Id be very greatful if you could send me your autograph please. Explain about the SSAE and say thankyou ;)
Keep up the good work and best wishes for the future.
Many Thanks,

My best advice - write from your heart. If you're honest with the way you write, that will come across in your letter! tell them what you liked about a role, what your favorite movie/song/whatever was and why - it's more meaningful to a celeb that way.
No one here can really give an example, all of our tastes on what we like and what touches us are different - tell them about what reached YOU and you'll be good!

Re: letters to celebrities
Good topic! Well, when I write to any celeb, I usually tell them about myself, my life and what means much to me, share my thoughts and feelings, just let a celeb see that I'm an alive person, not just a stupid fangirl who doesn't have her own heart and head. But always keep in mind that you write to a celeb, not your boy\girlfriend or a grandparent! So tell them what you think about their work, tell your motivated thoughts about their work and share your opinion. Don't just say "I'm your fan ?1 and you're great!!!" - they hear and read it every day, you will not surprise or impress them.
Reveal to them your personality. And if you're going to ask about an autograph, do it politely and let them see (through your message) that they will bring pleasure to a real and interesting person.
And hey, I take my advices not from somewhere like ceiling. They really work. Maybe I received not so much autographs, but they are all authentic and most of them are from people who usually don't respond and don't send authentic photos.

Re: letters to celebrities
I usually write a page total, and start it off by introducing myself and telling them how old I am. Most of my letter is spent praising their work/why i'm a fan/that i'll always support them. And at the end I ask for an autograph

JANUARY SUCCESSES:: Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, Shawn Johnson, Rob Schneider, Nikki Reed.
Re: letters to celebrities
Great advice. I also like to mention to stars about small films/TV that I've enjoyed them in, not always what they are known best for. Let them know that you enjoy them in many different films/TV.sunkissed08 wrote:I usually write a page total, and start it off by introducing myself and telling them how old I am.
