Calling all Oasis fans

Hi all.
A friend of mine has asked if I could help with getting a few autographs for a Macmillan Cancer Support charity auction in December. They've given me a list of names and 2 of them are Liam & Noel Gallagher.

Has anyone ever had any success from writing to the Oasis Merchandising addy?

If this is a no-hoper, I can try writing VV later this year - can anyone advise dates and venues that would offer the best chance of success?

I could buy the autographs and donate them - There seems to be plenty of cheap (and probably fake) autographs on ebay - I'd rather be able to offer the auction something 100% authentic.

I think it's pretty unlikely to get a ttm from Oasis at any time, but if you get one at the moment from their agency, it will most definitely be either A.P or Sec and not authentic as they are away on a massive world tour at the moment. I'm planning on sending V.V later on in the year when they are in England. If you look on the V.V feedback page, you can see which venues do pass on letters and which don't. Personally, I'm going for the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Admittedly, it's very unlikely to get a V.V from them but there's no harm in trying!

Someone recently had a Via Venue success though, so it seems that's the way to go. Good luck!

I had a VV success this past December so they do sign VV. I sent 2 photo's, 1 of Liam and Noel and the other was the entire band. They only signed the band photo

Both do sign, Liam is the nicer of the two, but VV does appear to be the way to go.
