What is your favorite autograph?

Hard to say what my very favourite is but here's my top ten (in no particular order):-

1. Lawrence Olivier (signed in 1978 - bought at a Memorabilia show)
2. Colin McRae (signed 12 months before he died)
3. Brian May
4. Spike Milligan (photo & letter)
5. Margaret Thatcher (signed back in the 1990's before she got ill)
6. The Yardbirds (from a concert in the late 1960's that my mum went to)
7. Ronnie Barker
8. Norman Wisdom
9. Sir Steve Redgrave
10. Patrick Stewart (my first ever autograph and the one that kick started the hobby for me)

My In person favorite would have to be Brian May It was my first ever rock concert and he was more than happy to sign

My overall favorite though is a signed book by Freddie Mercury, to me the man is a legend!!!!

Very nice indeed.......I miss Freddie!!!!!

First off, hippiejewel you're so lucky - I love Josh Holloway! {love}

I adore my entire collection and each person who kindly replied to me, but I'm just going to "highlight" the following (simply becuase they came as a surprise to me!):
- Jean Reno (my most favourite actor, I got an authentic signed & personalised photo from him when he did theatre work in end 2006)
- Paul Bettany (another huge favourite of mine, I got my photo back signed & personalised via venue from "The Secret Life of Bees')
- Marion Cotillard (my fav actress, I got 3 photos signed & personalised with a heart drawn via venue "Public Enemies!)
- Daniel Craig (I got a surprise authentic signed & personalised photo from him after he stopped signing TTM)
- Zac Efron (I've tried him for 2 years via 5 different addresses and finally got a fantastic reply!)
- Robert Pattinson (received signed & personalised photo, I've been a huge fan since "Harry Potter"!)
- Ben Barnes (loved him in "Stardust", I got his autograph 3 months before the release of "Narnia", he also wrote my address on the envelope!)
- Dominic Cooper (I adore him, such a great actor - I got an authentic signed photo from him!)
- Audrey Tautou ("Amélie"!! I finally got her autographs after trying for 3 years)
- Charlie Cox (he sent me a gorgeous personalised photo, so I sent him a gift and he filled out my questionnaire!)

I was so happy about the above replies, but I love my entire collection too (Cristiano Ronaldo, Lewis Hamilton, Josh Duhamel, Fernando Alonso, Chris Evans, etc!).

Well thank you zanne. I even had front row seats for the panel that he and Maggie Grace did at comic con 2005. My hubby taped it all. It was quite nice. My other favorite moment was meeting Michael Emerson when I was in Waikiki in 2006. They were filming the episode "Every Man for Himself". He told me that he was with Josh all day. He also said, don't say anything but I beat the crap out of him. To which I answered,"Everyone beats up Sawyer!" He agreed......LOL Very kind and humble guy. He said he likes staying in Waikiki because it reminds him of NYC. I told him I was from Chicago so I knew exactly what he meant.....LOL I do have autographs of the whole main cast of LOST from the first season. It's one of my favorite things ever........Right now I'm waiting to hear back from Jeremy Davies who plays Daniel Faraday! Keep your fingers crossed for me.....

That's amazing, Jewel! I love "Lost", it's one of my favouritie shows on TV too! {thumb2} Did you meet Matthew Fox too? Josh and Matthew are my favourites on the show.

I met Matthew, Evi and Dom the year before at San Diego Comic Con. I've got the season one poster signed by all 3 of them.



But my friend Dustin Watchman is an extra on LOST. He lives in Hawaii. I got to go to the beach set. We weren't allowed to take pictures. But they were filming season 3 when I was there. My friend who was with me said it best when she said it was like being on "holy" ground..LOL Looks being Josh's head in the picture below.....That's Dustin.
