Filming Location

Unread post by ballack462 »

harrison ford is filming a new movie like 40 min from my house!

Is there anyway to find when and where exactly the filming is taking place??

Imdb only says the filming city name

And is it possible to get IP autographs at filming locations??

Wow! Congrats on being so close.

As for fan mail, there is probably a crew office or production office you might be able to send a letter too. Keep an eye on the local newspaper, there is bound to be an interview with someone affiliated with the film and that will give you a place to look.

What I'd do is put a request in the Add/Request a VV address part of the forum and see if they can find anything. Also, do your own research on the film: check the internet and see if they give dates or locations to help you look.

I am not an IP collector so maybe one of the others can help with that question.

Regarding IP collection, it depends on the set!

Bytheway, I often find exact film sets by simply checking the MESSAGE BOARD for the praticular film on IMDB...
I found Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law that way, the set itself was completely barred there so you couldn't get near, only watch from quite far (but I was then told by a paparazzi outside the set were Robert was staying and met him at the hotel as he came back from filming)

But then a while back I also found Elizabeth: The Golden Age that same way, went there and had a picture taken with Samantha Morton in her full costume!

Basically, it's worth trying. Search google and the IMDB message board for the film, don't be shy to ask people on that board if anyone knows...
When is USUALLY from between 6-7am til 5-6pm... but that's usually. Seeing as it's on-location filming it could be any time they need. I'd go there around 3pm and check the place out. Doubt he'll leave before that and it doesn't leave too long to wait, usually.
