I wondered if anyone has had any luck sending to celebs care of the CAM agency (UK) Over the last four or five months i've sent to around ten different people via them, and haven't had a single one back yet. I wondered if maybe they don't pass on fanmail. I really hope they do as a lot of my favourites are signed to them.

Yes I have: James Redmond (Casualty) that was in late November, though I'm waiting for more from CAM though I'm sure.

Who is it you have written to via them? Hopefully you'll be more lucky soon.

Yeah I have had Samantha Janus's via them but that was last february so a year ago now, im still looking through the lsit but dont think I have had any more via them

Oh thats great if some of you have had a reply. I just had a horrible feeling that they didn't pass on fanmail.

I've written to 10 or more people from there - off the top of my head Chris Bisson, OT Fagbenle, Ciaran Griffiths, Connie Fisher, Thomas Craig...lots more. I can understand a few not replying its just that not one has!! They weren't all sent on the same day or anything like that.

I emailed CAM last night to ask them if they pass on fanmail (which obviously I now know they do!) and i'll add their reply to this thread if and when they reply.

Oh, and about Connie Fisher, I read from her official forum that at the moment she is doing promotional appearances on TV, radio etc almost every day, along with concerts, for her new album, so at the moment she is bound to be busy. That is perhaps why you haven't had a reply yet. Someone on her forum has recently had a reply however, so it could be that she is finally getting round to answering fan mail.

Thanks - sorry you weren't successful with James though. His only took 5 days via CAM though, so you may want to give it a try!

It is each individual person's choice whether they reply to fan mail or not - as far as I know, CAM would pass on mail. {thumb2} I know Ben Barnes replies through them occasionally, so I'm pretty sure they would let the actors know about their mail, but it's their choice to reply or not.

As long as I know that SOME people reply I don't mind. It was just when I looked through my records and saw that NONE of the people I sent to had replied I thought it was a bit of strange. There are quite a few others I want to write to via that agency and I didn't want to waste my precious stamps if they don't pass mail on!

You never know, maybe the agency aren't too quick at forwarding it. I won't give up yet. I'd really love OT Fagbenle's autograph.
