Well I prefer my autographs to be personalised, it makes them feel that bit more special you know?

I suppose people planning on selling them would rather have them non-personalised, but I only write to people I admire, and I don't plan on selling any of them.

So personalised!

I really cant decide...

as much as i love the fact that, in theory, the celeb has taken a bit more time to write your name (and as someone else said, may have read your letter), I'm also hoping to, at some point, sell them for charity so... perhaps the non-personalised ones would be best... but for me at the moment, i love the personalisation :)

Well, it means a lot more to me when I recieve an autographed photo that is personalized. But it also depends on the photo. I was at a singing session once, of a dutch singer. I had a nice photo of him and I thought it was great when he singned it to me. But he wrote my name across his OWN FACE. So if the they do write your name on it, they shouldn't do that.

Personalised to me are best. I treasure those more.

I am also collecting for charity, so non personalised will be good for those - havent received any yet!

I am pretty new to autograph collecting (i only have 2 successes so far :) ) but i think I like personalized autographs rather than non. I mean, sure I'd be glad to have it either way, but it would just make it that more special to me.

I do understand, and i know its been said here before, that people who sell the autographs probably wouldn't like it personalized, but I plan on keeping all of my autographs. Unless it is a tiny picture, I'd love to have it personalized!

I guess I am kind of on the line. Either way doesn't matter to me, I'd still be extremely glad to have it personalized, but it's not a bad thing if its not ;)

definitly personalized. i just like how its for me, when just a signed auto can be for anyone. makes it different than everyone elses and makes me feel better!

To be honest, for me it really varies from time to time, so I have voted other :)
If in person it's always nice for me to get personalised, because you get to talk to the person some more and you feel you get to know them a bit, but I've found if you're getting lots of people like a cast or somthing to sign one sheet or photo this isn't really a good idea because it takes up too much space, unless one of them personalises it from all of them if they happen to be all in one place at the sam time.
If it's ttm or ip and it's someone I really really like and are actually a fan of I think I'd probably like it personalised because it just means more to me and it doesn't matter if i'm not going to sell it or give it away (not that I would do that to an autograph anyway). But I guess in the future if I do end up selling some that aren't people I really properly like perhaps personalised isn't the best thing, and unpersonalised looks a bit nicer when framed I think.

What if it's personalized, you didn't expect it, and your name is spelled wrong (though close enough)?

I prefer personalized b/c it means that the celeb actualy took the time to write out my name. I mean it's time in their life they can't get back and they're nice enough to inscribe it to a person. that's awesome.

Seriously, who wouldn't want it personalized?
