Ironically, I only received Porter Wagoner's autograph yesterday, so this is a well timed thread. Despite being in the UK my wife is American. Her parents were having a tidy up and came across a Grand Ole Opry ticket stub my wife's grandmother got in person at the Grand Ole Opry. They have no interest in autographs so posted it to me as a gift which was really nice of them.

I met Dolly Parton in person on 08th October 2002 at HMV Oxford Street, London when she was signing copies of Halos & Horns. It was more about taking my father to meet her as he was a long time fan of hers and had been to Dollywood twice but never met her. It was great meeting her, it made the old man's day, and she won me over with her wonderful personality. I rate the meeting as one of my best ever in person experiences. She really cares for her fans and gave my father a wonderful life experience andx memory. I took a couple of photos of him with her.

Not sure if any of you have listened to his music, but we are big fans of Scott Clifton's music and have a couple of cds signed plus a signed photo. He is probably better known for his work on General Hospital but a lot of his folk rock music crosses over into country at times.
That's it for my country autograph connections.
