This strike is so worrying. It seems people aren't realising quite how big an effect this is going to have. If it wasn't for all the singers/bands that I want to write to VV soon then I think I would give up collecting for a while.
I read that there is a backlog of mail in London that will never get delivered. I hate to think how many of my requests, and possibly successes, have been caught up in that

Yeah, it's ok for Royal Mail workers to keep going on strike, but the'ye getting nowhere and the only people suffering here are the mere motals who just want to post a letter! I mean postal workers are lucky they're in a position to just down tools and throw a hissy fit! If nurses, doctors, police, and all other indispensible services followed suit, the country would come to a complete stand still!! Fair enough, they want to make a point but there are more effective ways of doing so if you ask me {thumb2}

So you guys think it's not wise to send any letter to the UK at the moment? Or does this strike affect only letters coming from the UK? I know this doens't sound logically, but I'm trying to get any hope at all, as I have some letters I really want to send to the UK.
