Does Ringo Starr sign VV?

I know that Ringo said he was no longer signing fanmail over a year ago, but I was wondering if that also applied to VV. I am definitely going to see him when he tours the US this summer, but I'd also like to try my luck writing to a couple of venues if I thought there was a chance that he would respond.

I really don't think the PLACE he signs is an issue to him -- It is because people would sell his sig on Ebay and such - That is pretty much the reason from what I heard. Now, it sure as heck cannot hurt to try, but I sure wouldn't get your hopes up too high.

Like the previous poster said, don't get your hopes up - but it doesn't hurt to try. Perhaps you'll catch him on the odd day where he's in a great mood and may look kindly on your request. I'll definitely be trying him on his US tour as well. ;)

I'm so disappointed because I sent out a request before his cut-off date, but it was returned to me a few weeks later with a note from the post office. They had spilt something on it and couldn't read the address, just my return address They returned it after Ringo had stopped signing. I was so upset!

I hope he decides to sign at least a few this tour!
