Is anyone worried?
Now that the postage has gone up in the US, I was a bit worried about all of the SASE's that I sent out prior to Nov before I knew of the increase. The increase is from 60 to 63 cents. Is anyone else worried about this or does everyone use 2 stamps instead of the 60 cent stamp? In that case you would have nothing to worried about.
I am afraid everything I have pending is useless and I will never receive now. Thoughts? Thanks.

Hi guys
I would assume that most celebs/agents etc would add the extra 3/c stamp to your envelope for you. They will all be aware of the postal price change, and it would not be worth them bothering to mail out photos if they just expected to get them returned as RTSs.
In the UK if an envelope is underpaid, the postal service still deliver it, but the recipient has to pay the deficit plus an admin fine of £1. I am not sure if that is the same in the USA, but I would think there would be a similar arrangement.
It may cost you more, but at least you get the mail!!!!

Sorry to have brought it to your attention since you had not realized and made you start to worry. I was thinking about it last night when I was watching One Tree Hill because I sent Bethany some pics to sign and really want them back. So then I was telling my friend all about it and they don't collect so they couldn't really sympathize with me. So I thought it would be best to talk about it here.
I totally would not mind getting a postage due and paying the post office the money on delivery or having to go pick it up. I just hope it doesnt deter celebs who take longer to respond from responding at all. Thanks for your inputs.

A few months ago I had sent a photo to Dutch football (soccer) player, Patrick Kluivert, who had been playing in Newcastle United. After 40 days I received my photo signed by him, but he didn't stick any stamps on an envelope.
I don't know how, but fortunately the photo has come to me. On the back of the envelope is a blue sticker which informs: "Royal Mail. The sender didn't pay enough Airmail postage on this item, so we had to divert it to an alternative service - sorry if there was a delay".
In this case, the sender (Patrick Kluivert) didn't pay anything. He just signed the photo, put it in my SAE (I didn't send a IRC) and sent it out, without paying.
What's more, I didn't have to pay anything for this letter.
It's amazing!
The conclusion is, that impossible is nothing. It depends on the post office.
Hope, that it will be the same in your case.

Thanks for giving us one more thing to worry about!
To be perfectly honest, I'm not too concerned since I usually overpost the SASEs. It's costing me more, but the last thing I want is for me to calculate incorrectly.
Also, a friend of mine who's worked in the Post Office for about 30 years tells me that most PO's will still deliver with the previous postage for a short while after the increase. He said they'll stamp the envelope with a reminder, but usually let it through.
