Alot of celebrities have secretaries sign there stuff for them. The tricky part is identifying a real one from a secretarial one. The best way to do it is compare a through the mail signature with a in person one if you can find one. But thats not always accurate either because signatures can change in time. I write my name different every other day. LOL It is forgery but the celebrity gives this person the job or his or her permission so it is totally legal. Hope this helps.

It seems like a big part of secretarials is the unknown. A celeb doesn't want you to know they are having someone else sign it, so it is hard to confirm which are real or fake. That is why some people think that secretarials are conivying and would prefer a PP than just a picture signed by a stranger. Not sure about those people. Sorry.

Hi movieman :D

The truth is, there are a number of celebrities out there who actually give permission to secretaries to copy their signature and autograph items on behalf of the actual celebrity (it is perfectly legal when permission is given.) This could be due to a number of reasons such as the celebrity not having enough time to sort through their own fan mail, or not being bothered...

The hard part of this is actually working out how actually does send out secretarial-signed autographs. Some celebrities may have someone employed to sign for so long that the secretarial signature will be almost identical and difficult to distinguish from the real autograph.
