SASE question

Unread post by capmonte »

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere.

I once read, ages ago, that the best way to do a SASE is to write your own address in both the sending and receiving part on the envelope. I've done it that way for years; is that what y'all do? Or do you leave a space for the celebrity to put their own return addy?
2014 Successes:
Tom Baker, Patrick Stewart (vv), Peter Cullen, Robin Atkin Downes, Jenna-Louise Coleman, Trace Beaulieu, George Lowe, Joe Dante, Willem Dafoe, Jeffrey Brown, Maurice LaMarche, Alan Oppenheimer, Penn & Teller (last success 10/14/14)

I do that. I put my own return address on the SASE. Usually it is not a problem and some celebs put their own return address on the envelope (either write their name or even put a sticker over my return address). But I still feel (it may just be my idiot-cyn-cracy) having my own return address is the best idea.
I have been asked many times about trading / selling some of my autographs. I am sorry but my collection is not and will not be for sale.

I put my return address in both spots and add the celebs initials to the envelope so I know who it's from. {up}
