U.S. Return Postage...

Unread post by velvetgold »

Hi everyone,

I'm in Canada and don't send to the US often as I don't have US return postage and IRCs can get pricey and causes extra work for the celeb/assistant. But recently, I found out that it is possible to buy US stamps online for return. I just have NO clue what a regular 9x11 envelope with a piece of cardboard inside, costs to ship from the US to Canada. My mum went out and got a regular package of mine weighed over here, and I actually cannot remember whether she said 0.75 grams or 75 grams. Now, on the United States Postal Service Website, it goes by ounces. So I converted .75 grams which, according to their scale would only cost 1.03 to ship here. Which doesn't make sense because just to mail WITHIN my own country costs 1.22
I then converted 75 grams which gave me 2.6 ounces which then says it would cost 1.55 from the US to here, which sounds about right.

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS FOR ME? Anyone here regularly send large flat envelopes from the US to Canada?

Thank you kindly! :D
