Unless duly noted I post the address, or if gotten at a con or via ebay. If it's a private address I atleast give a little information to help. I gather that IS the purpose of this thread to help fans. I appreciate the need for you to walk us step by step with how you searched it but a little less....snarkiness might help in the long run.
Either way, thanks for the info, I have been wanting Bart's autograph since his JLE days.
I was only trying to help. If you detected "snarkiness" than that is what you read into it.

Good luck with your collecting.
Use google before you ask. Seriously.

Have any of you sent off the "blank" sketch covers? I've taken them to conventions with me, but never sent one out before.

I like the Avengers #1 blank cover. The New Avengers #1 isn't too bad either. I like that Marvel is giving more space then they did with Fallen Son, Secret Invasion and Dark Avengers.

Are they something anyone else utilizes for signatures and sketches?

I sent off a Dark Avengers to get a custom from Randy Emberlin that I paid for. I have bought a few from DF also.
I will NOT PM you an address.
I will assist you in getting said address.
IE: give you pointers on where to get it.

Any suggestions on what to do with comics signed with paint pens? On one of the comics Todd McFarlane signed for me a couple of weeks ago, I discovered to my horror that some of the signature has rubbed off on the mylar bag. I took the comic out and thought it had enough time to dry; any idea what to do to preserve the signature? It still looks fine because the pen he used must have given some very thick ink.

Gee thanks. It's not like I said, "here, sign this with a paint pen." That's what he was using.

Hi Capmonte, I feel your pain. That was a nice long Macfarlane line at Phoenix to wait through just to see your signature start to lift because of your comic bag. I've been dealing with this problem for a while with comics, baseball cards and books. What I've found is this: the more acid free (ie expensive) your storage material, the less the signature will lift. A place called Light Impressions used to offer acid free card and comic holders and the minute I started using them the lifting stopped--even on thick paint pen. Been a couple years since I ordered from them, so I'm not sure if they're still in business, but I'm sure a quick web search would show if other companies handled the same product. Barring that, I'd say use an interleaving sheet to keep the comic away from the plastic. It's inconvenient as hell, but I wouldn't want to lose that sig. Good luck to you.

Thanks Frank, for the suggestion! You were in that line, too? Man I think that and the Stan Lee line were the worst I've ever been in! Just did a google search and they are still around.
