rude or nice celebs

I base my experiences usually on multiple meetings. Anyone can have a 1 off bad day, or good day. So its hard to make an accurate assessment on that. I also NEVER gauge my opinion on meeting them at a charity function/signing because they are there as paid ambassadors & generally, even if they arent nice, will pretend to be. So they are terrible places to get an idea of a true celebs personality.

As much as I wanted to absolutely loathe the Twilight people when they were here, a few of them were pretty good. Most notable Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli & Bryce Dallas Howard..all whom made my top 15 best encounters list. If it werent for the **** poor attitude of Kristen Stewart, it might have been one of the nicest casts I have met. Even Rob Pattinson was really good...when KStew wasnt with him.

other nicest ones- Robin Williams, Conan O'Brien, Stephen Colbert and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
other less pleasant ones- Tommy Lee Jones, Sean Penn, Evan Rachel Wood & Tom Welling

Reading your post, the only one on it I disagree with is James McAvoy; he signed everything and anything for people on the multiple times I saw him.

I've heard that now from multiple people. But both encounters with him, he didnt. Just dumb luck I guess.

The Goo Goo Dolls - They met with everyone who waited after a concert in Columbus. There were about 100 fans waiting and they met with everyone and signed autographs and took pictures and chatted. They were awesome!

Joe Satriani - He was such a down to earth guy who signed autographs and took pictures after a Cleveland concert. He had great manners. Not arrogant at all

Derek Trucks - Met him before his concert in Cleveland. Took pictures and signed mine and my friend's shirts. Extremely mellow and cool guy. Amazing guitarist.

Pat Metheny - Signed my photo and took a picture with my dad and I after a show and my dad gave him a canvas painting he made of Pat and he said he has a place for it in his house. He was so nice.

Well according to my friend he was waiting outside the venue and Jeff saw him standing outside and he was the only person there waiting whispers something to I am assuming his handlers and then points at my friend and soon the cops show up. He said it is a public sidewalk and the cop agreed and let him hang and said don't bother him. Then he comes back out after the show and signed for him but no photos. Weird......... Calls the cops and then acts like nothing happens but then again more people showed up so maybe he was trying to look good I have no idea but he did call the cops.

I read your autographing site. I have heard that numerous times about Reese. I forget from who but I have heard she is mean. Conan is cool as heck. Ashley Tisdale mean?? I met her granted it was a radio gig but she seemed nice and seemed like she generally liked being there. Kinda shy but very cordial. I have met celebs where you can tell they don't want to be there but Ashley did. I have met Goo Goo Dolls as well. They were super nice. I have heard if Johnny is mad he won't sign and then it starts a ripple effect and the other guys won't sign but they were cool with me so I have no idea but this is coming from my different autographing friends.

Nascar driver Tony Stewart is the WORSE!!! I have met him twice at different race tracks. Both times it was just him and I and each time he was rude to me. The first time he was in Vegas at the race track and he told me to F-Off!!!! 2nd time I was at Infineon and he told me to get lost and that he didn't want to be bothered! What a jerk!!

I have heard this as well.
Funny story- he did a signing up here a few years ago and it was only moderately attended since this isnt a big Nascar fanbase area.
At the signing, some guy actually said to him after Stewart happily signed 2 for him (paraphrasing) "now was that so difficult? why did I have to chase you to another country to get this"?- Stewart just ignored it & kept on signing as if nothing was said.

I enjoyed reading about your experiences on your site, but have gotten really nice replies from Sum 41 and Bryan Adam TTM who were on your worst list.. guess it just depends on the day !

You know it's funny you mention Jeff Daniels. My graphing buddy was just talking about him a few weeks ago. He was trying to get him before the show and he freaking called the cops on him. Unbelievable! I have heard of celebs being mean but calling the cops That is just plain rude.
