Custom photo poll/opinions.

Unread post by packrat »

I'm not usually this indecisive...

After working on this for the last month or so, I have sort of come up with a custom photo that I plan to get printed out (since I could not find a file big enough of Mr. Jones' character, Terrance Mann). But I am not 100% sure it it is good enough yet. I've spent lots of time searching for photos, images, and what-not and I think this is the best I've put together so far. I realize the players in back of "Terrance Mann" have their heads cut off, but that's the way the file is that I found online, so there is nothing I can do about it. I also realize I did not leave a box or blank space for him to sign, but figured he could sign across the lower portion of the photo of his character. This was done using Paint. I can't afford the expensive stuff...

If you do vote in the poll, please leave a comment below. Thanks!

I think it is a pretty good start, and looks good!

but if you can find a way to blend/soften the edges so they dont standout as much on the:

actual "photo" from the "scroll" background
and also
the edges of the "sky pic" from the "players pic"

other then that, I think you have a really cool custom pic to be signed!

That's exactly the kind of criticism I was looking for. I'll see what I can do. Not sure how, but I'll try.

Thanks!

I think it's fine except I would try not to cut the heads off of the people in the back ground. Just a continuity kinda thing. :)

I've somewhat softened the edges a bit between the two photos so they aren't in contrast as much. Not worried about between the photos and the background paper image though. If I get any other suggestions I'll see about making more changes.

I already mentioned in my first post that the image file I downloaded already had the heads cut off, so there is nothing I can do about it. I'm not happy about it, but on the other hand it's not a big deal. I'll try searching again for a similar image that has the players in the background in their entirety. But I've already searched a few times since last winter and haven't found that particular image any different than what I already have.

I dont like it much. I couldnt do any better but Im sure if u ask theres a whiz on here that can.

I actually bought some programs (paint pro and photoshop elements) but cant do anything on them lol. I had a member on here make me custom cards that looked great. I sent her scans and she somehow seamlessly cut the head and chest and made them look just like a trading card from a pack.

I would love to do things like this but I have no talent for it at all.
