Re: Autographs via email
Yes, I've obtained several by requesting through websites.
Re: Autographs via email
I think they can be as long as you don't abuse it in any way. Too often people use emails as a way to get free autographs, even if they're not a fan of the person. I only send to people via email who I really like. And I always say I don't mind providing a SASE if they prefer it.
I mainly collect voice actor and Disney related autographs-Any questions with Disney successes/addresses? Feel free to PM me!

This is very true. I know people who email for autos but dont know who the hell the person is. Just for the sake of having a signature. Im sad for them.Tabby wrote:...Too often people use emails as a way to get free autographs, even if they're not a fan of the person.

That's so wrong. And it's taking advantage of the person's kindness and generosity!
When I get an autograph, it has personal value to me. What's the point of getting an autograph if you don't know who the person is? It won't mean anything.

Re: Autographs via email
People write to people for autos considering them to be easy targets as well.
Personally I only email and write to people whose work I enjoy, but I'm well aware that not everyone shares my high-minded values and try not to get too self-righteous and pompous about it.
