Convention collecting autographs question

Unread post by jezhead »

This might be a bit of a weird question but, does anyone know if it is at all possible to somehow purchase autographed photos from stars when they appear at conventions worldwide? What i mean is say some convention is happening tomorrow in Chicago and i am in Toronto, since i can't go there personally is there a way to purchase photos from the convention itself and they ship it to me or whatever? Does that make any sense? there is this coming up and i would love to get photos from them!

12/3/10 to 12/5/10 Steel City Con at the Monroeville Convention Center. 209 Mall Blvd., Monroeville PA 15146. Scheduled to appear: Lou Ferrigno, Richard Kiel, Joyce DeWitt, Priscilla Barnes, Kane Hodder, Bruno Sammartino and more!

Please let me know if you know the answer! I would be doing this weekly if i can :)

My only suggestion would be looking at the website for the convention, find out who the promoter is, and then attempt to e-mail the promoter (or company) running the convention and ask them if the celebs will be signing extras for sale. Worth a shot and good luck!

Usually if the convention accepts mail orders, they will state so on their site. There is usually a link to follow to see what their specifications are, or an e-mail provided to make an inquiry. Generally speaking if they don't state so, then they don't offer it. But it doesn't hurt to ask, because you never know.
