TV show tapings: autograph opportunities?

Unread post by taylorr »

I'm hoping to go to a taping of "Two and a Half Men" in the Spring and I was curious about opportunities to get autographs at something like this. Has anyone had experience with this type of thing?

I have been to a few tv show tapings. The most recent was for "King of Queens". Since I had vip seating. I was able to walk onto the set after the they were finished and met and took pictures with the cast. But, most people who wanted were able to get autos from the audience seating.

Here is pic with another of the cast members. But, you can see where the audience sits and the actors usually come up to the edge and sign.

Good luck and have fun!!

HI

I have been to 2 tapings of the Friends spin off Joey and there was no way to get autographs or photos, all cameras were taken away at security and bags had to be under a certain size (a4) from memory. This one was taped at the warner bros lot.

I also went to 2 tapings of Will & Grace and at the very end Debra Messing came over and signed a few things through the railings but nobody else did and she only did about 2 - 3. Security was also strict again and cameras taken off you. This one was at CBS studio city.

Hope this info helps!

Thanks for your post {up} I was curious about how things would work as far as having cameras on you if they would take them away or not.

Unfortunately due to Charlie Sheen's bad behavior, "Two and a Half Men" has shut down so I will not be attending a taping.

Sorry to hear that - hopefully you will get tickets and go another time!

I guess since I had vip seating they didn't confiscate my camera.
