Hayley when i've sent out a DVD cover i've made a copy of the original cover first on glossy photo paper. Once its in the DVD box you wouldn't really notice the difference. That way if you don't get your cover back its not the end of the world.

I wouldn't be happy with a fake cover though lol, but that's just me. Plus with CD booklets they usually have song lyrics and info pages inside so it would be very difficult to re-create that. If I didn't get the cover back then I would buy the DVD/CD again which would be a waste of money. I think I'd rather just not take the risk, unless it's an old DVD/CD that I never watch/listen to anymore, but in that case I probably wouldn't want the persons autograph anyway

Don't mean to take the orginal topic off track, but an idea that I just came up with is, to contact the song artists manager or record company via email or telephone and see if you can just purchase the CD booklets/covers by themselves. {thumb2} they may even send you an autographed one anyways! who knows. Just an idea.

Yeah that's an idea, but it involves more money! I'm a university student lol I really can't afford to be spending unnecessary money. I'll stick to sending pictures  Thanks for the suggestion though!

Good idea Angelchops! {up} I may perhaps do that in the future when I send a CD/DVD booklet.

I wonder if that would work, Ryan J? Interesting thought, must try that.

well just camer back from mailing out my pic , letter and sase to Jameson Parker. Thats two i got out there., I hope they both work. Jameson Parker is going to be intresting to get. as well as Richard Thomas. i got my fingers crossed. It took me a week to get a letter out to Jameson and only few days to get one written for Richard. I get picky about my letters. Being dylsexic I don't want the celeb to think they got some uneducated person writing them. yikes!

Did you write to him at an agency or VV? I'm still waiting for a VV request that I made a few months ago.

The longest that have ever waited was 7 years. That was Don Carman of the Phillies. In one day I got signed cards in three different envelopes that I had sent him during that time.
