It can mount up, most people send out more than one requeat at a time. People out there who collect and have a house/family/car to run don't have alot of money to spare and with the cost of this brilliant hobby and the cost of living increasing it's getting even tougher.

It sounds expensive but to cheer you up a litte, just think how much it would cost in petrol to hand deliver all your letters yourself

Compared to other things it obviously doesn't sound a lot, but when you're sending lots of requests out and you have to use your own money to do it (especially when you're a poor Uni student like me ) then it does add up!

If you do, which I'm not sure of, £30 isn't alot of money to get by on. I don't notice it because I'm only a young teenager and my mum pays for pretty much everything but I know £30 isn't alot.

Haha are you being serious?! I most certainly don't! You're thinking of sixth form and college students on EMA. We're not entitled to that at University.
I get a loan 3 times a year, but once they've taken the money out for your accomodation you're left with about £50 to last you 4 months. It's very difficult to get by on, I'm permanently hungry I only get to have a proper meal when I go home!

Yeah the years almost over now! I'll be home the Friday after next for Easter. Then when I come back there's less than 4 weeks and it's Summer. My Dad takes care of me when I'm home lol so I don't have to worry about anything. I'm definitely going to try and get a job next year though, I can't have another year like this! But my house next year is about £20 a week cheaper so that's quite a bit extra I'll have, plus I'll have my boyfriend to look after me!
