I write first names - but I do put a title on the envelope, because I think it looks better. For a Dame or a Sir, then yeah, I'd use that; but addressing a letter to Messrs. Delonge, Hoppus and Barker just doesn't sound right to me.

i always start my letter off with dear (celebritys name) and unless they are a older celeb i will address them by their first name throughout the letter, if they are a older celeb i will address them as mr. or mrs. throughout the letter expect for the dear so and so part.

i feel this is the smart thing to do, i mean young celebs like, Taylor swift, Chelsea staub ,Selena gomez, dont want to be adressed as mrs. since they are pretty much just kids. while older celebritys like June foray , definitely should be adressed as mrs.

I use Mr. or Ms., as Miss means they're single or divorced.

I've always written to men in the mail, and I always call them "Mr" so-and-so. This even applies to people who are younger than me. I recently got into Taylor Swift, and if I decide to write to her via venue in Boston next week, I'm still going to call her Ms. Swift, even though she's way younger than me.

To me there's not a whole lot of difference between Ms. and Miss, though I tend to prefer Miss.

taylor is just 19, not for anything but i really think she would prefer being adressed by her first name as opposed to mrs.swift. its your personal choice to do so if you want to do it feel free, but im just voicing my opinion.
