How often are you successful?

I try to send out 5-7 requests a week and have been doing this for many years. My success rate is probably about 50%. It all depends who I write to. Years ago, before Ebay, the success rate was much higher, probably around 75%.

The shortest reply took about 3 or 4 days, and the longest was 7 years.

Since I began keeping records in 1986 I've sent out over 8,300 requests. Just send out a few a week for a long time and you will build a fantastic collection.
