Collecting Dr Who autographs for our kids was the reason I got back into this hobby, of the ones we have , my favourite is the one Matt Smith signed for our kids before his regeneration episode was shown, he inscribed all of their names, signed his name in full, wrote a really lovely dedication and drew a little cartoon of himself on it as well.

He's a lot busier these days, of course :-)

Most surprising one was in amongst a bunch of trading cards I bought off eBay (they all match the IP ones we had before and the TTM I've had since, so no reason to doubt their authenticity), a Jon Pertwee one which wasn't pictured in the photo of the batch I bid on, I think I paid about £3.50 plus a couple of quid postage.

I had a really sweet letter back from Camille Coduri when I wrote to her, and Maureen O'Brien wrote a wonderfully silly comment on the back of the photo I sent.

Tom Baker, Elisabeth Sladen, Roy Skelton, Anthony Ainley, and Geoffrey Beevers all wrote really nice letters/notes along with whatever I asked them to sign. Lovely bunch of people, these Doctor Who folks. I have around 50 Who autographs at the moment; I'm going for about 15 more at Galley this year. I've been using Doctor Who: The Visual Dictionary as an autograph book for the "new series" writers/directors etc., which has worked really well, so far.

Favorite sig so far in my WHO collection would be this one
Damaris Hayman who portrayed the white witch Miss Hawthorne in the classic 1971 tale The Deamons. She duly signed this screencap pic plus another late last year TTM. Very chuffed to get a reply as the old dear must be getting on now...

Wow, I really, really must write to Damaris Hayman. The Daemons is such a classic, and she used to pop up in every 70s sitcom I was forced to watch while growing up.

i have done that already beat you to it, because i saw that they where at the same address i sent one letter to the both of them was i being cheeky i just didnt have anougth stamps to send seprately hope it dont get ignored because of it

You will probably get a response from one of them...both is less likely. Just because they have the same agent doesn't mean they hang out together in the office ;) But I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

ones better than nothing at all would resending the signed photo to the other one that not signed it work explaining in letter why i would also like it signed by them work, thank you ive still not recieved matt smith yet but i guess he will be bussy filming for next doctorwho series when is it starting im growing restless
