I've also got mine in an Excel file:

Name
Date Sent
Date Received
No. of Days
Address
Notes (I keep track of what I've sent out - e.g. SASE, photos and what I've received back)

Well, I keep my send/receive dates in a TEXT file on my computer. I do have Open Office so maybe I should use this prog to store my send/receive dates.

Well, I am now using the database section of Open Office which is a great open source alternative to Microsoft Office to store my send/receive dates.

I wrote my sent dates on a piece of paper first before transferring them onto the envelope when I've gotten a success :D

In excel. Under the headings:
-Name
-Address Used
-Date Sent
-Date Replied
-Time Taken
-What did I send?

It's so quick and easy I don't know why more people don't do it like this.

{up} I write the date that I send the request out on a coner of the envelope. that way when I get it back I know how long it took. I have done mostly Sports figures but I am starting musicians and actors.
