I got my first autograph when I was a kid. The Bionic Woman was my favorite show at the time (yeah, LONG time ago) and I wrote to Lindsay Wagner to tell her how much I loved the show. She sent me an autographed picture, much
to my delight.

Back then, and being a kid, there weren't any resources to get good address. Nobody had computers. You wrote to ABC, NBC, etc. Now, you can do so much research online and there are forums like this for people to help one another.

Anyway, stopped collecting and then started all over again about 10 years ago and haven't stopped since.

Ironically, the Lindsay Wagner picture I got as a kid was lost through the years or maybe when I moved
across the country. I wrote to Lindsay about two years ago telling her how she had been my first
autograph and asked if she would sign another for me (I enclosed a picture). Just this year I received it back
signed by her. Kind of like coming full circle, I think.

Nice thread topic, BTW. It's nice to read about everyone's experiences.

i have only been collecting 4 months but have a fair few autographs

i started in 2003, then stopped because i was deployed to iraq, for a year, in 2004...i recently found the box that held all the autographs that i had received ttm and well -- i thought i'd pick up the hobby again

i only got 15 autographs so far, and a lot of those SFM PPs.

well seven years ago i would go to shows ,with my dad and we would get ip autos and buy a few, and get some before baseball games, but i didnt start ttm ,and buying autos ,on my own until about a year ago me and my old man still get all are ips together.

Hmm, I think only about a year. Yeah but I stopped sending out for a while, but I started again about a month ago, so yeah !
