Some of the larger pictures would be fine at 10x8, its just the £1.20 cost thats alot, maybe get them in 12x8 from kodak - 5 for 1.38 postage? {thumb2}

I'm sorry if I'm starting to bug you, but I have a few more questions. :neutral:

At what size would they look best without looking squashed and losing their quality?

And, you know if I'm using a large picture, will snapfish shrink it and make it look squashed, or does it crop nicely?
Same with if I'm using a smaller picture, would they stretch it, or would it come out looking okay?

On snapfish you can crop the photos yourself. You can check the Snapfish FAQs on how to do this. Wallpapers would look best 10x8 or 6x8. {thumb2}

Personally I use http://www.bonusprint.com for my pics. The prices are reasonable, the photos are excellent quality, and you can preview each pic to see how it will be printed, if will have borders or cut off parts of the pic etc. A very good site, and currently have an offer for 10 free 6x4s if you pay postage.

Snapfish Tiscali: 30x 6x4 = £0.99 P+P or pickup your prints free from your local Jessops camera shop.

Delivery was super fast, I ordered Saturday night and received them today (Tuesday) so thats 1st class post on Monday.

However I'm disappointed with the photos. I selected "glossy", but these are far more glossy than those I have ordered elsewhere, and they are a magnet for fingerprints, which become easily visible.

The image quality of some pics is also a little blurred, and it has nothing to do with the original image quality, as it should have been comfortably good enough for a 6x4.

My last complaint is that when I went to confirm my order, it told me that "Some pics were digital camera format and would be better in a 5.5x4 format, to avoid part of the image being cut off. I selected to allow these pics to be printed as 5.5x4s, and they've chopped off part of the image anyway.

So overall I'm disappointed with the results, but seeing as it was only 99p, I can't complain - but I wont be using them again.

Hmmm.... Snapfish are usually very good. The glossy is rather too glossy though IMO.
