You guys that have been on here for a while know I'm a vet and I took a bad ass pic with a lions flag in afghanistan I won tixx for the pix etc etc. well the flag is very important to me and I wrote a few letters to players for the lions sent em the pic and asked if i sent the flag to them if they would sign it and send it back because I don't want to lose it. Well got a response from dre Bly but he just signed the pic obviously didn't read the letter. Guess I'll send the flag any way his response took a week. I just don't want to lose the flag.

Mixed bag there on that response. Congrats on the Bly autograph, but sorry on the not so clear response. Is your flag, a situation that warrants sending it certified to ensure that at least you will know there wasn't a postal failure en route to their facilities? At least you'd have the peace of mind knowing it was delivered.

I'm thinking this is the way to go, you definitely want to be able to track that flag. I know you definitely don't want to lose it, and a lot of the sigs you have on it already would probably be impossible to get again TTM. I'd go as far as insuring it as well. Something that rare, you definitely don't want to lose it.

I did indeed get a Rickey Jackson earlier this year. I believe it was from that address, but my black book is separated from me atm and is 1600 miles away, so I am unable to completely confirm that. You may also try him C/o the HoF. Many players such as Bruce Smith are voracious signers, but if you send it directly to their home address they will kick it back.

I got Brian Blades today in a bit over 100 days.

Got Billy Sims, he wrote me a note and said he'd be honored to sign the flag so I'm gonna send it to him. U guys ever heard of Speilman signing through ESPN?
