Re: Wrestling Collectors?
Received Success from Jim Garvin today. Signed both cards I sent (WCW Freebirds card and WWE Heritage Card) Also, he included a note that say:
"Spread the word, I can not sign anymore. The mail to my home is too much. How did you get my address? Write back and let me know. -Jim"
Probably going to start refusing items from now on is my guess.

Re: Wrestling Collectors?
Hmmm, I would not tell him about this site - That would suck if he saw all this and "spread the word" to anyone else --- Are u gonna write him back or just ignore it? I think since he has been so cool to sign, maybe just say that his address is public and u looked it up - Maybe even say that Wikipedia said he lived in Charlotte, or something ... I am curious about what YOU think and everyone else that is reading this --- Interesting topic.
Re: Wrestling Collectors?
I'm probably gonna write back saying I got it from a friend.
Re: Wrestling Collectors?
I got "the note" from Garvin also. He and Precious did sign my card and picture.

Re: Wrestling Collectors?
I certainly HOPE you either ignore it or don't "snitch" on the site.
You already got your stuff signed so take it as a win for the good guy and let it die.
Honestly it just happens the 5-10 guys in this thread all sent at the same time. He won't get any more mail after this month. "Too much", why? He's retired and sitting at home. Is opening an envelope, scribbling your name, then sealing the envelope and sticking it your own mail box THAT difficult? Granted it's a nice courtsey of him to sign, still not hard work.
Personally I NEVER post any wrestling succes that is a home address on the feedback. Most don't care, and those that do simply do it to spam the addy and get a signature to add to their collection. They know absolutely nothing of the person but "need that autograph" to sit in a binder never to be seen again. The way I look at it, the wrestling fans are right in here, why bother posting the same success in two places? And I specifically do that to stop a working private address from getting ruined.

I didn't even think of that. I'll start doing this as well.chriscollector wrote:Personally I NEVER post any wrestling succes that is a home address on the feedback. I have a couple of address to confirm.
First:
The Honky Tonk Man
4665 E. Harwell Street
Higley, AZ 85236-8101
I've seen a few different zip codes and street just want to make sure this is the right one.
And this one:
B. Brian Blair
12702 N. BLVD.
Tampa, FL 33612
Again, I've seen different ones for Blair.
Thanks guys.
