I like to have mine personalised, but only when they manage to spell my name right!
Only the British celebrities usually spell it right, if they're American then they tend to miss the first Y off and spell it 'Haley'.
Now I never ask for a personalisation as I feel it ruins the autograph when they do not spell it correctly.

I love it when celebs personalize things. Just the photos though. I really don't like it when my cd booklets, dvd sleeves, and cards are signed for some reason...

I too like personalization. It does make you feel special and that they took the time to read your letter or at least what your name is, like the time it took to you to write a celebrity. Like what Hayley said, it is always the best when you open the envelope and find out that they took the time to write your name properly, I also have a name that is spelled differently than most people with my name. So I guess if they can't spell it right I would also rather just have the photo signed with no personalization.

Definately personalized, as everyone's rightly stated, it just makes it feel so much more special - and, the fact that they've actually read to see who the letter's from is always a nice thought.

Although, saying that, i'd never actually request that the autograph be personalized in my letters, i just see it as almost rude. i dunno, may just be me. but still, a majority of them still come back personalized :mrgreen:

Personalized, of course!

It's nice to know that a celeb took a few minutes of their time and schedule to dedicate something to YOU!

P.S: It does feel good when they spell your name right, but I guess they make mistakes too... :(

I prefer an autograph to be personalized, because it means the celebrity put forth more effort to return your request. Plus, it just feels better seeing your name on the photo, at least to me it does. Overall, an autograph is an autograph, personalized or not, it beats nothing! {thumb2}

I like this poll I want to hear everybodys else answers
I prefer it personalized too. It's cool and exciting knowing that the person signed especially for you.
