Got Terry Bradshaw back today. Took 2 weeks. Might try resending because the autograph is a little smudged. I think its because I got that picture printed somewhere else

That's a really good time to note that if your card or photo is a really high quality gloss, take some body/baby/talcum powder to the surface. (I know it sounds odd but work with me.) Rub it all in nice like until there is a white film, then dust it off gently. The powder should remove enough of the viscosity from the surface so that it can absorb autographs. It will not damage the card. After my initial hesitation, I've done this to numerous Upper Deck and Donruss Rookies and Stars cards over the last few months and it works like a charm.

Got a few cards out today to former OILERS runningback Gary Brown, and WR Jake Reed. Bill Romanowski, Dexter Manley to follow this week. Since Hampton will be at the 610 fest next month, I'll hold off sending to him until afterwards.

EDIT: - Also finally shelled out for a sportscollectors.net subscription. The listings are not too impressive, you have to know ppl are deceased etc, but meh, some interesting names on there that some people have been looking for and it gives me a fairly accurate expectation of autograph patterns. Let me know if you need somebody and please do not send me a request for 'ALL' the xx team, or Tim Tebow.

Leebo - Yeah I did that to the cards that I sent out. I went and got these pictures printed at Wal-Mart and even though I chose a matte finish the auto still smeared. Its the first one I got back from all those pictures I sent out so hopefully I find out if maybe it just happened to be a bad auto or if it is the pictures themselves.

On SCF, there has been a success for Jay Cutler, but I'm not sure if they're real because he doesn't seem like a guy who responds to TTM's. Has anyone else had success with him? If there is, I am sending to Jay Cutler on Monday

Sending Jake Locker tomorrow. Figure he will end up with the starting job for the Titans and can start to make a name for himself. Want to get him now before he starts to get slammed with stuff.

I sent out to Kevin Garrett and Mark Van Eeghen this week.

Monday, I'm sending out to Terry Bradshaw (again) and Fran Tarkenton. Both magazines.

I've gotten really into sending magazines. I don't know why, but I just really think they look great signed and framed.

He's batting about 60%, but the problem is most of his stuff coming back is stamped. Last reported success is pretty recent and is from the Meiselman 2011. Apparently they did not use the Bears address. A few are trying the donation route through his foundation.

Will you be using the Titans addy? I know they're training at baptist park, but can't get a confirmed mailing addy there.
