Re: How do you write your letter?
This happened with Debby Ryan, my auto that I paid for got sent to someone else.
I never wrote my addy at the top until let's say two months ago. I never thought of it but now i make sure to NEVER forget.
I write about half a page (since they get a lot of mail) saying why I like them, etc..... then Sincerely, My Name. Then I enclose my email. (Just a thing I thought I would do)

Re: How do you write your letter?
I never put my address - I genuinely don't have room on what I'm writing on. Maybe I should. I might get a better success rate that way ;)
'Dear Miss/Mr' doesn't sit right with me. It feels stiff. So I always call them by their first name and I sign off with my first name. I like hand writing them, as well; it'd take me longer to print the things out and get the formatting and font right.

Re: How do you write your letter?
I write how I was taught to write letters in school.
I always include my address in the top right hand corner, and then begin my letter with Dear Mr./Miss.
I don't think it is informal, I just think it's the polite way to go about it. Just because I watch their films, I don't know them personally, and it's not really for me to call them by their first names.
I always finish my letter with your sincerely (or yours faithfully if they have been knighted) and then sign my name at the end.
As far as looking formal goes... well I like to think the bits inbetween the Dear and Yours, are more informal and unique.

Re: How do you write your letter?
I have written typed letter for years and NEVER had any problem/celebs commenting about that so people who cant write that tell(in their opinion). Please dont feel bad for typing! Its not if it is handwritten or typed the letter matters,it is what it says in it!
I type my letter on the computer(not everything, the name i put and always sign it) and most of the address i always type but not all!when i put an Extra envelope back i always put the senders(celebs address) on the back and always write my address on the backside of the envelope i will send to the celeb!

Re: How do you write your letter?
Do you include the addresses of you and the celeb at the top of your letter? Yes, I do. But I just started in early February. Now I always do it, though. I only do my address though, not the celebrity's.
Do you set it out professionally? No, I write it like a fan, and heartfelt.
Do you include Yours faithfully/Sincerely(Sorry cant spell!) at the bottom? I write Sincerely.
Do you sign at the end? Yes, I do my average signature!

Mr Kennedy, you're in a very disagreeable mood todayMr Kennedy wrote:LOL no it doesntmovieman14 wrote:I agree, they may lose it in your SASE, but it wastes a lot of valuable space that you could be using on the letter.
Again, I'd say no it doesnt. Also, about signing your name at the bottom, even if you type your letter, it shows the celebs that they're not reading a form letter, and are reading a sincere letter from the heart if you sign it.
But thats just me {wow}

I never write my address on my letters. I do always write my name in full on my sase though, that way I can still get a personalisation even if my letter gets misplaced {thumb2} I've never had any problems so far

I personally just write what i feel about them and what they have done for the music/tv or movies.Honesty is alway's the best policy in this case.
