Mine was 2004 Olympic gymnast Terin Humphrey. I sent her a letter telling her how big of a fan I was. I think I also sent an SASE with it because someone I was talking to at the time told me to send one, not really knowing what it was. She sent an autographed picture and a handwritten letter. I was so suprised and excited when I received it, since I was unaware that people actually responsed to fanmail. It's still to this day one of my favorite successes. :mrgreen:

My first TTM was the Olympic champion Bruce Jenner. All before that were IP's.

My first success was the amazing Chelsea Staub!
Now she's on the JONAS TV show.
I got her a little after 'Minute Men' came out. :D
She was so sweet! I was so excited.

I recieved a letter from the famous medium, Rita Rogers in 2003. It's typed and only hand signed "Rita" at the bottom, so I'm not sure that it counts as an autograph. In January 2004 I got a signed cast card from Jan Pearson (Cath Fox on Holby City) so I always say that's my first ttm autograph. All before that were ip {thumb2}

Very first one was for my kids about 2003 0r 2004 and it was Matt Groening. They sent him a drawing they had spent ages on and a plastic Bart belonging to my son. He in return kindly sent them each a personalised A4 drawing each, one of Lisa and the other of Bart on official Simpsons paper. He also drew a little Bart on the front of the plastic Bart and wrote a message to my son on the back and signed it. It was that reply that got me hooked, as I had never written to anyone before that!!!!!!

Wow! That is so alsome that Matt did that for you and your kids! I would consider that a tremendous success! (I guess an universal success would be a phone call from Mr. Groening, lol)!

Blessings,

Joshua
