Especially when everyone post their success on 1 particular celebrity (and even a few sent it the same day as I did!) and I still don't get anything from that person, after a long period of time. I think, "did I say something to offend that person? Am I doing something wrong?!"

I guess they just take an extremely long time to get to their mail... :neutral:

2 months is nothing to wait! Don't start to panic now at all! Last year I received my autograph from Placido Domingo that I was waiting on for a minimum of 4 years (it could have been the 8 year one too.) I got 2 of his autographs last year because I'd tried a few times with no luck - and they finally came!

I once 'waited' - although not really in the literal sense as i had forgotten all about it - THREE years for a Gregory Peck autograph!

As i said it really came out of the blue, but it was personalised by him to me accompanied with a letter explaining how he doesn't sign many autographs but the ones he does do he really does them himself. A nice surprise after all that time to say the least!

I was getting spoiled. I had gotten at least one response for the past week. I just have gone 2 days without one. I am in withdrawls. :lol:

Hiya,

Dryspells are so annoying. I'm having one at the moment. But That is because I'm only waiting on 3 autographs. :) I know this hobby is about patience. {up}

I always try to send out atleast 4 or more at the same time and Normally I Forget what I sent out. I am always hoping when I goto the mailbox that there will be a surpise waiting for me.

I just this week got back Jimmy Carter after what seemed like forever. It was only like 3 months.

I only remember ones that i send special items to: magazines that I specially ordered just to get signed or personal Pics with said person.

dryspells suck

I really do hate dryspells especially knowing that I have sent request and that they are too normally good signers. Back in February I sent to both Evangeline Lilly and Melissa Joan Hart (who I especially want - she was the first, and last until this year, american actress I wrote to back when I was 12 and was also my RTS), who I seem to recall there being a lot of successes for back around that time, and so I thought that was a good time to send but I have heard nothing.
