Ever seen multiple successes reported and not receive one?

I wrote to her via venue twice, and thought it was a sure bet, as everybody was reporting successes. I have never heard back.

I have never had that happen...I have wrote to lots of people i didn't hear back from obviously but whenever i have seen a success from someone who i also sent to i have also got my request back within a week or so after. Only time that almost happened to me was with jill wagner so i resent to her and got them back but my original request which i assumed was lost came back too a year later so i guess it was misplaced or fell behind a desk lol If it happened to me more than once like some of you say it has i would start to worry that my mail was being stolen or delivered to the wrong house by accident.

My most recent would be Pierce Brosnan. Everyone is receiving their photos back signed, but not me! I sent to 8x10's to him last year and received them back unsigned about a month ago.

I get frustrated when someone gets one success and I have been trying for a long while. I have been trying to get my Smallville card signed by Patrick Cassidy for almost a year and half. I tried a few of his agents with no luck. Then a friend of mine writes to an agent I tried and got a reply back in a few weeks. Ugh!

While i have gotten quite a few successes since joining this site a few months ago, there are some i havent yet received, and one that i saw Ink&Bones reported as a failure on e-mail (Tim Conway) that i got in about a month. I have been an autograph collector for over 15 years, and you would think i'd be used to it...but i still get frustrated or paranoid("The mailman is stealing my autographs!")when i dont get replies. I think part of it is when a success is posted here a lot of people write in to get an autograph too, which floods the celeb and either delays your reply or the celeb just gives up. Also, these people do work, so that would delay a reply is they are working on a movie or other project. For example, i saw several successes for Robert Klein here. Most were back in a few weeks. He has always been one of my fav comedians, so i wrote to him October 12, and nothing yet. Maybe he's on tour or making a movie....or just didnt like my letter. You never know! I suppose we just need to be happy and satisfied with what we get and never give up hope. Those people you are waiting for? They may show up in your mailbox tomorrow!!

Its sometimes sad when everybody's having the auto except for you. But its sometimes rewarding to have a difficult autograph that everybody doesnt have.

Well, the thing is that I mainly collect German Autographs. The only successes I see will be on German Collection Sites and some of those successes are quite old (i.e 2004), so I always have to take a gamble. I know on this site the German Collectors groups isn't that big, so the addresses here are not always correct either!

I do get frustrated when I see that the people I sent to do/did respond (on those sites) but I don't get anything, or when I see that someone sent to someone I sent and did get a success in lesser time than me.
But the same kinda goes for some of my English/American requests like David Tennant, Karen Gillan, Clémence Poésy (okay, this was France but still), Robert Lindsay or Robert Picardo to name a few.
I know it's all part of the hobby but it sure sucks to see others getting something back, perhaps send way later than you, while you are still waiting and waiting!

I am having trouble with Stana Katic and Amanda Seyfried. I have sent twice to Amanda with the 1st being in June. There were numerous successes in July and August from her with some being sent to her after I had sent, so I was disappointed in not getting anything back. I sent again in late Sept or early October still without anything.
