I keep everything I recieve. Envelope, PPs, APs, Secs....
I try not to send to a specfic person if I know they don't sign authenticly.

I keep hearing about this old chestnut of "the only way to be 100% sure is if you see them sign it" but I think that depends on the popularity of the celeb. If it is Brad Pitt or Madonna then yes.

I haven't received an AP, I only use my time to write celebs who authentically sign for their fans. PPs go in the trash though. Don't need to clutter my home.

I agree with the above poster nicknifty in I shall limit my autograph collecting to soap opera stars as said or other minor stars, ones who should sign authentically for their fans. Any AP or PPs or secs I would throw away.

Then do research before sending out to celebs because if you still send to people who send out AP's, PP's and secs, and you throw them away, you are selfish!
