How many do YOU send out?

Maybe about 2-3 a week, on average. Although I've not written any for a while because I've nearly run out of people I want to write to.

Exactly. And if someone has a lot of favourite celebrities, why not send a lot of letters per month/week.

I have sent around 7x requests in Feb to May...
Average is around 16-18 per month..

I'd say about a quarter of those 100 are musicians, other celebrities.

My girlfriend writes the letters and sends them out for me. I just have to find the picture so she can print it out. We have come to a decision that 8 a month is fine

I have a state job, plus do portrait art on the side. And I still bum stamps off my mother.

When I first started out, i would only sen 3 out and expect it to come in in the next two months. But Now i send at least 30-50 requests a month.

Don't send out many at all at the moment because I have exams and revise so much so my hand aches to write.
When all my exams are over I've going to aim to write about 3 a week.
