Jeremy Haun is a great guy. Next time anyone meets him, bring him pie. Blueberry or Cherry.
I sent some copies of CHEW out to Rob Guillory last week. I messaged him on twitter and he said he'd sign through the mail. He's one of those artists that I doubt I'll ever get to meet in person.
I'm still waiting on my Stan Lee and Todd McFarlane stuff. I'm sure it'll be waiting for me when I get home tonight.
Joseph Michael Linsner was also a great signer. Such a clear and tidy autograph.
If you ever get the chance to meet Tony Moore, he's awesome too. And He'll sign anything. I didn't trust the CGC Rep at a convention last year, so I have him sign my slabbed copies of Walking Dead 1 and 2. He's just a great guy. So's Matt Fraction. He and I talked X-Men for a good 30 minutes one time.
Phil Hester and Brooke Turner are also great guys. They're both Iowa guys and very down to Earth. I have 3 great sketches from Turner. A Batgirl on a Zero Hour #0, Magik on a SI #1 and a wicked Supergirl on a DA #1.
I hope you all get the opportunity to meet Lousie and Walt Simonson. I had the chance several years ago at Wizard World in Chicago. We talk for about half an hour about X-Factor and killing off Superman. I really had no idea how legendary those 2 were until after we left. In that period of time, no one else came up to their table.
Marc Silvestri is also awesome. I had so much for him to sign, I gave half the stack to my buddy. When Marc asked my buddy's name to personalize them I admitted to them all being mine and splitting the pile so I didn't look greedy. Silvestri just laughed at me and told me not to be embarrassed because my stack wasn't that bad.
Tony Bedard and Jim Califiore (if I'm spelling their names right) were really cool too. I would love to get my REBELS signed by Bedard now. I had brought a bunch of VALIANT stuff for them to sign. Paul Jenkins was another great signer. I didn't actually have anything for him to sign that he'd written but I did have the 2 issues of New Avengers that he's actually drawn in. He got a kick outta that and signed a HULK poster for me from the video game he wrote.
I'm sure I'm boring you all now.
PEACE!
