WWE.com has announced that Shane "Hurricane" Helms and Paul Burchill have been released.

Shane Helms' most recent WWE run began back in 2008. Since then, he has served as both a backstage interviewer and wrestler and performed as both Shane Helms as well as The Hurricane. He was arrested along with Chris Jericho in late January for public intoxication and was part of the ECW brand when it folded earlier this month.

Paul Burchill had been with WWE since 2005 and was also part of the ECW brand before it folded. There was talk he'd be moving to RAW.

Both men were wished the best in all future endeavors.

Maria being released is sort of a surprise since she sort of got a push recently. Not bad news though I suppose, she really couldn't wrestle.

Too bad about Burchill though, I loved the pirate gimmick he had earlier in his WWE career and the C4 finisher, but he's never been the same since.

Regarding the Hulk Hogan success...

As has been requested in this wrestling thread, if at all possible, PLEASE refrain from posting wrestling successes in the feedback forum.
Reason being, too many people who aren't even wrestling fans will start to bombard them with requests. That in turn can be a negative.

It's not a knock on you. Just a pet peev of some of us in here.

Sent 3 requests to him ... 2 to his home addy and 1 that came back RTS to the Double Cross Ranch - The other 2 to his home never even came back .... S u c k s, as I saw TONS of people getting replies with very nice inscriptions and such .... I may try again as Terry is definitely one of the best - Has anyone else gotten anything back from him, like in the last 3 months?
