Re: NFL TTM Thread
I got Jordy Nelson through the Packers address. I think they forward mail in the off-season but with a ball as expensive as "The Duke", I would call first and make sure.Cutiepie80 wrote:Do you by chance have Jordy Nelson's address?bravesfan1515 wrote:Cutiepie80 wrote:I just got an official Nfl football and debating on who I should send it to. I was leaning towards Bart Starr because I heard he is pretty reliable if you send him a $35 donation for his Raw Hide Boys charity.
Any other ideas on someone who will for sure sign it? Well, not for sure, but pretty solid chance?

< Got Ricky Williams in person at a charity lunch today on 3 cards again. He's a cool cat in person.
So sorry, I should get back to TTMing. Cross your fingers for me knicks. I'm going to send out to the GoAT tomorrow- and no that's not Randy Moss.

Lol, good luck man... Expect it to take 1-3 months. If ESpN doesn't work, I also have a home address for him that only has 1 success, which is why I thinknyou are better off with ESPN. Best of luck!leebo wrote:< Got Ricky Williams in person at a charity lunch today on 3 cards again. He's a cool cat in person.![]()

Re: NFL TTM Thread
So, as a guy that normally only writes to retired players or players through charities, anyone have a good idea of when is a good time to try and get guys that are still in the league, apart from during the season? I'm sure at least SOME of these guys are hanging around the cities they play for. possibly working out and stuff like that.
Either that or maybe I'm just being way too hopeful for all this.
The reason I ask is because the stores are finally starting to mark this year's cards down, and I'm finally able to afford some of the smaller packs. I'm getting some really good cards that I would LOVE to send off, but the only problem is I don't really know which teams forward mail to the players' homes / hang on to mail for the players to get whenever they come back.
Any help is definitely appreciated.
ALSO! Things that I'm super excited about: some time in the next two months, the Boys and Girls Club here is holding its annual "Fred Dean Hall of Fame Pro Days." This is an all day football camp in which hall of famer Fred Dean comes out and teaches kids about football and has other pros, including (usually) one hall of fame pro, talk to the kids about how to grow up and make it to the NFL.
More than likely this year, the roster will include Ryan Moats (he's there every year) Kyle Williams (DT for Buffalo, he's there every year) Fred Dean (of course, his camp) and, I've been told, the two other NFL Hall of Famers for Louisiana Tech: Willie Roaf, and my hero, Terry Bradshaw.
Today, to start preparing for this occasion where I may get to meet my football hero, I purchased a copy of his 1980 single "Until You" on vinyl. I also found a couple of cards of him, Willie Roaf, and Tech's latest addition as an assistant coach, Tim Rattay.
I. Am. Pumped for the next few months: I'm graduating from college at the beginning of March, I am starting back to writing to players again (a few of which Leebo has confirmed will hopefully respond, and, hopefully, I will be meeting my hero in the next couple of months. Life is good, folks... life is good.

Oh no: it appears as though I have broken this thread.
Apparently my happiness is a bit too much lol.
I got two cards signed by Doug Flutie, if we'd like to get back to topic on the thread......

Re: NFL TTM Thread
You probably won't be seeing much of anybody for awhile. Since we are in the offseason, almost everything NFL autograph related dies until August or so.
