chriscollector wrote:Dude!!!!! Give it a rest already. Stop going on about this already. This was over yesterday. You keep beating a dead horse. You are not an authenticator, I don't care how big a fan you are. As for the certified cards? Really??? Have you seen everyone who signs them compared to a TTM or non rushed version? They have to sign hundreds in one sitting with a Topps/UpperDeck/etc. agent in a short time. They get paid to sign a set number, not for neatness or penmanship.

If you are the master of comparrison use one that looks like his to do so. Most of us feel it's legit backed on other examples and the circumstances. You are the only one who dosent. And that's fine. Infact I'm glad you clouded the waters so others won't send to him, and we still have a shot.

And on a closing note. When did i attack you? LOL, not one nasty word or comment. Just seems you don't like my disagreement with your "facts" on authenticity.

For the sake of this awesome thread I'm done with this. It is what it is. I'm tired of this one.
Chris,
I agree: we both are tired of this, so it really is time to pass.
On your closing note: I think you used a nasty, unpleasant tone and you keep teasing me (like calling me “the master of comparison”… how funny… {down}).
We have a different opinion on what a discussion is. You wrote again that I keep beating a dead horse. Sorry, my friend, but YOU killed that horse. The discussion lasted one day… We are not in the same room, talking face to face. We are on a internet forum. How long should a discussion last on this thread? 30 seconds?!?
I was going to post a few links to some Hogan IP successes. Don’t worry, dude: I won’t. You killed this discussion and other Hogan fans interested to know more will have to thank you for that.
Please note that you did not cow me into doing this: I won’t post other comments on this subject simply because, yeah, for the sake of this awesome thread, I’m definitely done with this too.

Congrats for your great Umaga success. {up}

Todays success, UMAGA, yes you read that correct UMAGA!!!!!!! It was lost in the mail! He wrote happy holiday sall over the envelope on the front and back around every edge, personalized 4 photos with really nice inscriptions. I've met him before so I know his autograph, this is legit. I know there will be doubters so tomorrow I will get my digi off my Mom (loaned it to her because we got 3 feet of snow and she loves taking pictures) and post the envelope and all the signed photos.

Also got Nikolai Voloff on an Allen & Ginters card, index card, and he answered a few questions I asked him.

This has rejuveniated my spirits. Just yesterday Burns, me, and a bunch of others were talking about the dry spell. When stuff like this happens it really makes me happy! Keep the faith guys, whenever something like this happens you can't help but get excited all over again.

Thanks Frank! I live near Allentown Pennsylvania about 35 miles. That's where The Wild Samoan Training Center was for nearly 20 years. They also ran an independant called WXW. Umaga, The Rock, Afa, Sika, Yokozuna, manu, all them were all there batista, Snitsky ect. I've met all of them numerous times. In my letter I told him who I was and talked about a conversation we had and didn't really do a typical wrestling letter. Just a person to person light hearted note with holiday wishes for him. That's why he signed all them with different holiday inscriptions, and probably why he answered my request.

I knew there would be doubter when I posted, but in all honestly if i were to forge a success I wouldn't be in this hobby. One of my personal peeves is folks who think it's cool to post fake successes to get a reaction.

Since we are speaking of Umaga - This was on wrestlezone.com just now:

Wrestling author and journalist, Irv Muchnick, is reporting that Eddie "Umaga" Fatu died from "acute toxicity due to combined effects of hydrocodone, carisoprodol, and diazepam." Hydrocone is a painkiller. Carisoprodol, commonly called soma, is a muscle relaxer. Diazepam, commonly called Valium, is an anti-anxiety medication.

Fatu died on December 4th, 2009.

Regarding TMZs report:
i was just going to post that. Here's the link...
http://www.tmz.com/2010/03/01/wwe-umaga ... in-valium/

I remember when he died, I said it was drug related and somebody on here got on me about my theory.

Apparently, I know what I'm talking about.:)
I'm just sayin'.
