How many do YOU send out?

I started collecting just the other month and have had two frenzied nights of writing so far plus a babysitting jobs worth

I like to make a night of it if you know what i mean, glass of wine, that celebs movies or tv shows running, candles on and i make it an event for myself. I have a medical condition which restricts me from going out very often so this is a sort of nice event for me

I might go for a night of it tonight, i'm a Doctor Who fan, but i only started on series 2 plus, so i've managed to get ahold of series one, and i think i'll start writing to some lovely Who folks tonight!

So yeah, i dont do writing in a regimented 'however many a month' type way, i just do it when i feel inspired by that person, and want to tell them they're brilliant!

I'm very lucky because my blokey is a postman, and he gets a Christmas bonus in about 50 - 100 stamps a year, and hes not touched them in about 3 years, so i have a good supply!

Well, when you are new, it is easy to go kinda crazy... I started in March, so here is my send out numbers from March to May.

March: 27
April: 55 (went a little crazy that month)
May: 26

So, I have A LOT of pending requests. Out of those, I have only gotten back 25. So that leaves about 82 that are still out there...

It gets REALLY expensive...!!!

I think its been almost a month since i sent something out.. When i first started out i used to send probably 5-10 a week, but it has slowed down quite alot since then!

I haven't sent anything but e-mails since February or Early March. Things got busy, stuff came up. I really haven't had time to send out any SASE's or anything but, I plan on doing that now that school's out.

There was a point where, for about 4 months, I had mail almost every single day, and it wasn't usually just one thing, it was like two or three. Once, the box was so full, it was just MY stuff in there and the rest for that day had to be delivered the next. 4 autographs. I was so pleased.

I'm just curious how often everyone is sending out requests. I've just recently really gotten into collecting TTM (done it on and off for a few years) and find myself sending 2 - 5 requests out every weekend.
