Great reply from Spivey! When I wrote to him, I sent him a card from the Classic WWF Wrestlemania set. He signed it on the back. I hate that! I do have a pin-up from an old Wrestling Eye magazine that I am planning on sending to him though.

Signed on the back is still better than signed on plastic like I got today from Jerry Jarrett. I get frustrated either way.

Not really a TTM success today, but still got an autograph I didn't have. Took the family out today and stopped by K-Mart and they had a big box of "value trading card packs" for .99 cents. They had about 25 packs of wrestling cards that used to run 2 and 3 bucks a pack including the Fleer Wrestlemania 19 cards, No Mercy Chrome cards from around '01 and Smackdown Chrome cards from '99. I bought about 15 packs, just trying to get some new cards to send ttm and I pulled an Ivory certified auto from the Smackdown cards. I was pretty happy with this one, being a long time fan of Ivory.

High-larious failure from Raven today. I got my photo back with a typed form letter that states the following:
"We recieved your request however there was a problem. You did not include payment. Please adhere to the following guidelines"
* Inlide payment in the form of cash, MO, or cashiers check. Paypal can also be used.
* A SASE MUST be included if you want your item returned
*Autographs are $15 each
* Every item MUST be personalized
* Only Raven items qualify. Scotty The Body, Scotty Flamingo, and Johnn Polo not eligible
* Requests that don't meet these qualifications will be returned or KEPT.
* No refunds, ALL SALES FINAL.

What a crock of shoot. It's one thing to charge, but to then force all items to be personalized, then only specific items are allowed to be signed. Who does this guy think he is? If it wasn't for me and the fans who went to all the ECW shows in Philly he wouldn't have had a career. He failed as everything but raven.

I'm eagirly anticipating the "He has the right to charge and not sign" blah blah blah. I get that. I don't get $15 each for a personalized items that have to meet HIS specifications. And to top it off the $15 dosen't even cover the shipping, or supply the photo. Essentially it's $20 each after costs. When Fuji, Bret Hart, Sammartino, hacksaw, Mickie james, ect. all sign for free this is an insult.

The only good part of this wast eof postage was my stamps not being cancelled.

That's awesome! That just happened to me except with a pack of 2009 HIT football cards. Congrats on the Ivory!
